Hi guys,

I have a True connection in Bangkok, i got a modem with the package deal... it all works well.

What really annoys me is having to log on via windows in order to get connected to the internet. I would much prefer it if the modem could/would hold the username/password combination and log on automatically. Is this possible?

I've managed to get into the routers interface but cant seem to find anywhere to set-up my username/password - anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

/Edit: i got it - please ignore this post - i was having a Blonde Moment!

Your modem router is TRUE modified!! They using a special Password. Evevn if your reset the modem, you need this password to be able change the onfiguration. I'll send you an PM wiyth an Tel No. for to sove the problem.

I can help for some Billion models please specify the model and build...

Its ok guys, i got in ok (found the username on a thai website 'true/true' - how original!)

I set it all up so that i can connect two machines to the net via a switch (my base unit and my laptop) but now im having some connection/speed issues which i will have to resolve, mainly on torrents and stuff.

for torrents you'll need to forward the port in the router to get the most out!

You may have to "flash" the firmware of the router,

then set it up to logon automatically.

Essential of you have more than one computer connected to the modem/router
