hotandsticky
For those of us with visas/extensions it is obvious that a re-entry permit is valid for the duration of that visa/extension. What about expats with Permanent Resident status - how long is their re-entry valid for?
ubonjoe
One year from the day it issued. Same for the immigrant visa you apply for to get the re-entry permit.

The endorsement (immigrant visa) is 1,900 Baht, a single re-entry 1,000 Baht or a multiple re-entry a 3,800 Baht. Complete form TM8 and TM22, four photographs, copy of passport, brown police book and, in some cases, a copy of the blue house registration. All copies done at the immigration for a few Baht. Just did it this week at Nong Khai; service with a smile and done in 45 minutes. Super nickel, as the French would say!
