CW will accept one day prior bank letter.

Some immigration officers what to see "activity" on day of application. Not just update.

Is there issue with obtaining bank letter on the day of application?

Early appointment, Don't want to risk getting stuck in bank Q. I'll do a withdrawal and print from ATM and stick in the bank book.

Do Chang Wattana insist on bank letter being dated same day as you apply or is one day old ok?

Just did mine at local immigration...

Bank statement must be done same day as your IO visit, bank book must show last transaction as with copies.

Letter from the bank should reflect the statement/bank book...

however I was told the letter is okay for 7 days [so the final balance could change]

and not be in sync with the statement/bank book.

Nup...

In another thread he mentions the io wanted ..

One year statement and bank letter and bank book pages.

This was for marriage money in bank method.

I deal with CW as you do.

Mine is money in bank method (retirement) and have never provided bank statements.

Of course for income method bank statements are required.

My first time at CW was last year after moving from another area. At that time they wanted all pages of PP and 1 year record from bank, all ins/outs.

Was told it was because it was my first time in CW. Was also told this year would not require those,

all pages and full statement, just copy of bankbook and front pages, entry stamp pages, TM6 and copy of extension from last year.

Usual photos, blue book, wife's ID etc

Edit.

My money in bank always in excess of 400,000 all year

Better to update the book, some ATMs have a bank book printer integrated.

I've seen the locals struggling with those kiosk bank book updaters as well as a fair few with 'out of order' signs. It would be a PITA if the machine was out of action and a total disaster if it 'ate' the book. Better to spend some extra time getting the update done inside. There's a nominal fee for this but maybe that's waived if it's your 'home' branch?

Local IO is Nakhon Pathom...

SCB Bank statement for one year was dated up to the end of the last full day.. [not the morning I was at the bank prior to going to IO office] as the day was not completed.

bank book was up to date including copies.

If you do a deposit/withdrawal on the day of the IO visit the bank statement will not show it... only the bank book.

The bank letter should be dated on same day as visit but if the IO office need more documents then they say it's valid for 7 days.. but a new statement and bank-book/copies will be required on the day of the return visit.
