webfact Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 Daily News Thai Caption: Appearing downtown (in Bangkok) Local neighbors were shocked to see a crocodile sunning itself in a pond in the middle of Bangkok. It happened in the downtown area of Charoen krung Soi 107 in a wooded area belonging to a middle aged man. Ruam Katanyu rescue services were called to the area at 2.30 pm yesterday after reports of a one meter croc on some wood in a pond, reported Daily News. The area was not connected to any waterways. Rescue couldn't find the croc after pictures were taken by residents in a dormitory that overlooks the area. The owner of the property said he didn't raise crocs and had seen it a month prior. He didn't think to report it as there were often things like snakes there but no children so he just left it. He also had a big dog to warn him. The rescue service advised the public to call them if they saw it again. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2022-08-15 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m.
