I sincerely hope the minister also support major improvements of infrastructure on the island before building a bridge, otherwise the island's environment might collapse from all the extra tourists, who furthermore might be disappointed when arriving to a place that cannot cope with their basic recreational demands....:whistling:

That would make to much sense so will not happen....

Terrible  idea. It was the airport  that led to the decline of quality tourists and the overwhelming  of the environment

No decline of quality tourists on Samui - plenty of Indians checking into the villas up here. ????
