Boycie
Trying to decide which option to choose for a 90 day stay in Thailand for my parents. UK and Irish passport holders. Both over 70 years old. Option 1 - 60 day Tourist E-Visa then extend for 30 days at local immigration (1,900baht each) Would there be a problem departing London or entering Thailand with return flights for 90 days later but E-visa is only 60 days? Option 2 - Non O for visiting family in Thailand. Option 3 - Non O based on being a pensioner. Is health insurance and Covid-19 US$100,000 cover still required? Just looking for the easiest, stress free, no drama's at check-in or immigration option. Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received. DrJack54
Option 1. SETV with 30 day extension. No problem.

Has anyone had any problems on check-in at LHR when their return ticket is for longer than the initial period of stay permitted? Or are they aware that you can get extensions for 30days within Thailand. Example: Tourist Visa 60 days but returning home after 89days. Visa exempt 30 days but returning home after 59days.
