British Man Arrested for Sexual Assault of 6-Year-Old Thai Stepdaughter
30 pages of "that guy should be...... "or "that guy should have his....." is redundant virtue signaling. Cooler, measured responses are far more interesting to read and contemplate. No amount of punishment will undo the damage done to the child. She should be the focus. -

Four Thai nationals safe after Myanmar sea detainment
Picture courtesy of Bangkok Post By Bright Choomanee Four Thai nationals detained in Myanmar are reportedly safe after their boat allegedly entered Myanmar waters in the Andaman Sea over the weekend. The government reported this information yesterday, December 3, following an incident where Myanmar navy vessels reportedly opened fire on some of the 15 Thai fishing boats that strayed 6 to 7 kilometres into Myanmar waters on November 30. During the incident, a tragic loss occurred as one fisherman drowned after jumping into the sea. Some 31 crew members, including the four Thais, were subsequently detained by the Myanmar officials. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reached out with an official communication regarding the situation. “We have received confirmation that all four Thais are safe,” she stated. “Efforts are ongoing to secure their release as quickly as possible.” Foreign Affairs Minister Maris Sangiampongsa engaged in discussions with both the Myanmar ambassador to Thailand and Myanmar’s foreign minister concerning the release of the detained individuals. The Royal Thai Embassy in Myanmar, along with the Ministry of Defence, is actively involved in these diplomatic efforts. Thawee Phaeyai, chairman of the Phang Nga Fisheries Association, has shown solidarity with those affected, visiting Ban Nam Khem in Phang Nga province to support the families of the detained crew members. He provided details of the confrontation, stating that the Thai fishing vessel Sor Charoenchai 8 was attacked by the Myanmar navy, leading to injuries and casualties. Thawee highlighted the importance of Thai fishing operations adhering to the maritime boundaries of Thailand. He emphasised that all Thai fishing vessels include Vessel Monitoring Systems to prevent encroachments into restricted or foreign waters. According to Thawee, the captains of these vessels have denied any border violations, reported Bangkok Post. “The use of force by the Myanmar military was excessive.” Thawee added that the association plans to formally request assistance from relevant agencies to ensure the safe return of the detained crew members. Using Wise to pay for things
Paying with Google Wallet/Apple Pay/ Samsung Pay is available more than people think. It is just a RFID payment the same as actually using a card. You can use it anywhere they have a machine for touch card payments (Usually called contactless payment). 711, Big C, Lotus's, Fuel Stations, Starbucks, Tops etc. The only problem is the staff invariably do not know how to do it. So what I do is wave my BB debit card but don't let them take it and as I go to touch the machine with the card I use my phone instead. They often say I haven't paid yet but when they look at the till the transaction has gone through. Transactions over 1500 baht require your PIN. One place did ask me to put my card in before it would let me enter the PIN - I can't remember where now. It didn't matter to me as I had a physical Wise card but that could be awkward with a virtual card. There has been a guy on this forum who claims he got his Wise card sent to his Thai address. It could be something to do with where you declared being tax resident to Wise. My account is based at my UK address and I obtained the card when I was in the UK. It only allows 2 free ATM withdrawals a month so being able to load the card and make payments could become invaluable. I can set up Google Wallet on my Samsung Galaxy Watch, so I will do that next and upset the girl at Starbucks 🤣 -

Looking for Bulk Decorative Pebbles (locally)
No, that's not what I've done. I have one area that is laid with pebbles, it works well. It's a walk way/redundant area behind the house that I don't want to lay to grass, stones laid and I can forget about it. -

Kodi buffering ???
I have 2 android TVs now, TCL and Sony. Quit using the android boxes, both tvs have Google channels and play better than the boxes. I use CyberGhost VPN and have no issues. I only have a 100mps plan with 3bb and while running CyberGhost speed is usually 85 to 90mbs. Buffering often is not due to our internet but overloaded sites. Nexflix never buffers any country, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan gives you better choice movies. All Australian TV channels work smoothly, great for Aussie AFL and other sports. No wires much tidier and easier to use. Don't use Kodi easier apps that work good.
