Just research market prices.   Failing that, for ballpark price, insured value+10% for private, +20% for dealer.

Yes there is a book that displays the prices for used cars.

Does not mean a lot but it does give you an idea.

Of course the condition of the car makes all of the difference.

Used car-No service book?

No deal.

There are some (used to be, anyway) Thai magazines, similar to Auto Trader, that are just vehicles for sale and they have a used car price guide inside (not that those guide prices mean much).
