Hi Nikmar, the test is not for employment.  I am looking for a test lab for lipid profile, kidney function, liver function, the typical annual blood tests.  Do you have to be a registered patient to use the blood test lab at Sirindhorn Hospital?  Do you know how much they charge for these tests?

hi mate, I couldnt tell you about charges but it is going to be cheaper than private. You can register when you arrive - you may need to take a girlfriend / Thai friend for translation purposes, oh, and go early as it gets busy.

Hello Sheryl and all....

I contacted the lab and I loved the fact that they responded to my email asking for a quote within 30 minutes or so. Excellent!

Unfortunately, whilst they provided quotes for almost all tests I needed, there are 3 tests that are unavailable there:

PTH = unavailable
- Ionized Calcium = unavailable
- Free testosterone = unavailable

Does anyone know of a lab that I should contact to see if they offer those 3 missing tests? Would be terrific!

Cheers

Try Bria (though more of a trip - they are on a back soi of Lardprao. Way, way back - need a car or taxi to get there)

https://www.brianet.com/en/blood-test/

OR

RSU (I had a PTH done there a few years back - although website shows only packages, you can get labs done "ala carte")

https://rsu-healthcare.business.site/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=referral

They are on Sukhumvit around Soi 33, convenient to Prom Prong BTS

With both of these do nto expect prompt email reply, better to call - or perhaps just walk in, in the case of RSU

Thank you very much Sheryl. That is indeed valuable information.

And you might be surprised to hear that Bria responded to an email within minutes! Actually I received 2 emails from them (one from the @info and one from the labsales team) with slightly different quotes but, yes, they are 60% or so cheaper than the quote I got from BNH. Assuming that they are a reliable lab, I certainly tend to visit them.

Thanks again, Sheryl!

They are reliable, I have used them. And they offer a very wide range of tests including iners not done by many other labs.

It can be hard to find the place as google maps shows wrong building (also Bria, but not where they draw blood - that is a few blocks away from it). Or at least this used to be the case ,it's been a few years since I went there.
