Patong – An American man has sustained injuries after he was allegedly attacked on Bangla Road in Patong.

Emergency responders were notified at 3:30 A.M. this morning (September 28th) that a tourist was allegedly attacked on Bangla Road in Patong.

They arrived at the scene to find the injured 35 year-old American man. He had sustained injuries to his face and his middle finger of his left hand. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment but was reportedly released not long after. His name was withheld by emergency teams.

Thai's are not stupid they know what the middle finger means.

What is happening with the Media reporting these days.  Used to report names, descriptions and what color undershorts the guy wearing in such incidents.  And where's all the names, ranks and IQ of all the police that "rushed" to the scene. Rather boring reports....

35 years old, Phuket, 3:30 AM.. AM!!!!

probably involved drinking.

this stuff happens........not to me, it never did because I have (had) common sense.

LOS.....any country really......  3:30 and you are on this endless "vacation."

It's fun to out after 1 am., but it's fun because everyone knows things could get crazy

Another good reason not to extend drinking hours...

How you know it was a Thai attacker?  The victim was with a Russian female.  Well could have been the Russian females' minder?

If they put a cast on his middle  finger that will get him in much more trouble.

3am. Alcohol most likely involved. Bit of a non-event. Ho hum....
