That wasn’t the choice.

The choice was Truss or Sunak, the Tories made the wrong choice.

And the outcome was predictable:

Why not answer the question, would Boris have done a better job (if still in power)....?  ????

The lefties prayed to have Boris removed, one here wanted Truss to win, now she has, he is complaining on here...????

Just FYI, he's trying to infer you are a racist, without actually saying it.

An accusation that is thrown around so liberally by the left that it has become pretty much meaningless. If he is looking for real racism, I would suggest he check the Labour MP's comments about the Chancellor at the Labour Party conference. It would appear that anti-semitism is not the only issue for Labour to deal with.

I 'm well aware of what he is implying         they are all the same

It was nothing to do with the Left.

Tory MPs in a Government with an 80 seat majority threw Johnson out of No 10.

Then together with the Constituency Conservative Party membership selected his replacement.

The Left had absolutely no say in the matter.

I do however note even the ardent rightwing are now suffering ‘buyer’s remorse’.

Was you pleased to see Boris leave number ten ?

Did you support his resignation ?

It seems to be the Left that are making a big drama of the whole thing.

As Transam noted, the pound is back to normal.

If I had used the word "some" as opposed to "certain" would that have been easier for you to understand?

I'll try to stick to single syllable words for you

Well if you just used your words correctly as you suggest, then that would be ideal.  Don't worry about the number of syllables; I've got you there.  'Certain' implies a commonality that you didn't explain.  'Some' is much better.

The issue seemed to be with those on benefits being given expensive goods .

You say "us" : Are you unemployed and in receipt of UK benefits and been given iphones and televisions ?

I do hope that you havent retired to the tropics and still consider yourself "poor" and hard done by

He is probably still signing on   "online"   wouldn't be the only one either,     last year an "expat" living near me got caught claiming his winter fuel allowance and another claiming some sort of "disability allowance" had to rush home to attend an assessment medical examination,  all vocal left wingers too

They actually report facts and reality , rather than the usual Guardian left wing anti conservative agenda .

Its an honest report of the current situation , rather than blindly supporting your side

That 33 % Labour lead is a ‘fact’ that will have grabbed the attention of Tory Back Benchers.

It’s encouraging to see its not only the economy Truss is destroying.

But that too was predicted.
