That's not the point of COD, it's not a facility for you to make the driver wait while you open it and then decide if you want it, that's what the returns service is for.   Drivers' instructions are to collect payment and then hand over the item, they're not there to return to the depot with opened, unpaid-for packages.

Bare in mind you should pay before you open it, and it could be a plastic toy ! If you didnt order it , or dont recall it, REFUSE IT.
