An employee of former President Trump said the former president personally instructed workers in moving boxes of documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Fla., according to a new report from The Washington Post.

The employee witness, who was not identified, told FBI agents that Trump directed his people to move boxes to his residence after a May subpoena from the government requested any remaining classified documents, the Post reported. Security footage allegedly confirmed that account.

The witness reportedly first denied handling such documents, but switched stories in a second interview with federal agents, admitting to handling boxes of documents at Trump’s behest.

LOl...ok, but the Hill report does not say whats in the boxes the witness (after changing their story) says they moved to Mar-a-Lago, nor where the boxes came from.

But be happy, it's another lame and laughable leak to the Post. This is amusing, and has become ridiculous when the regime players need to stoop to such low levels out of sheer desperation.

Indictment watch.

The witness did not say the boxes were moved to Mar a Lago. The boxes were in Mar a Lago. The location was shifted from the storage area to Trump's quarters. Material marked classified was found in Trump's residence. Now, if that material didn't come from those boxes, that would mean that it comes from other sources that haven't been located yet. Which jibes with reports that it's believed by the govt that Trump is still holding onto documents that don't belong to him.

And as I pointed out, and you pointedly ignore, the witness changed their story after being confronted with video evidence.

Calling something lame and laughable doesn't make it so.

There are numerous other sources for the story:

There are many more.  Please stay on topic which isn't about the source(s).

Nothing in The Hill report about videos. Nice obfuscation attempt.

Stick with the facts, the theme, the details please.

Perhaps read again:

I got that information from the original article on which the report is based. That said, I did misconstrue it. The report doesn't say that the witness changed his testimony because of the videos. But the videos do confirm that items were removed from the storage area after the DOJ after Trump received a subpoena from the DOJ.

"A Trump employee has told federal agents about moving boxes of documents at Mar-a-Lago at the specific direction of the former president, according to people familiar with the investigation, who say the witness account — combined with security-camera footage — offers key evidence of Donald Trump’s behavior as investigators sought the return of classified material.

The witness description and footage described to The Washington Post offer the most direct account to date of Trump’s actions and instructions leading up to the FBI’s Aug. 8 search of the Florida residence and private club, in which agents were looking for evidence of potential crimes including obstruction, destruction of government records or mishandling classified information."

It certainly sounds credible given that there is video footage of the boxes containing the documens  and the witness subsequently acknowledged that he had handled the documents after denying that at first.

Sounds like the witness got caught in a lie to FBI and agreed to come clean to avoid felony charge's for lying to the FBI.

The lie being that he didn't move the documents.  Maybe to you it seems likely that those documents would be removed from the storage area without Trump's express orders.

You've got nothing.

Famous last words. I suspect the DOJ and FBI are feeling that concept as well.

But maybe Trump gets indicted sometime next year, well after thanksgiving when it's rumored Trump will announce his intention to run for office. They need to indict Trump before he announces or Trump wins again and YOU got nothing.

Sadly, I don't believe Garland has the spine to persue a Trump indictment, especially if they don't indict Hunter Biden. I do believe that a precursor to a Trump indictment is a Biden indictment.  Got to have both, it's about image and public perception now given public mistrust in the DOJ & FBI.

It's so weird that there is so much unambiguous hard physical evidence, actual government documents that can be touched and held . that show Trump violated the law are derided,  but a series of emails unbacked by any hard evidence, and a witness who claims were discounted by a media source owned by Rupert Murdoch,  are overwhelmingly convincing for some.

It looks like Trump is toast! ????

- documents found during the search,

- lawyer saying she was told to sign a document stating there was nothing left

- security footage showing the boxes moved

- and now a witness stating he was ordered by Trump to move the documents!

I would just love that to be the case, and get all of this nonsense out of the way, and put him where he belongs, in an orange "suit" and a cell for many years – – but does the overall US establishment have the guts/nerve to do it??

Unidentified witness describes moving boxes that could have contained documents about anything.

Conclusive evidence of a crime, not.
