Video: Police investigating after mystery bullet appears at water melon shop

Bang Poo police in Samut Prakan south east of the Thai capital Bangkok went to investigate after a water melon trader reported that his wife was nearly hit by a bullet.

 

Two shots had been heard before the bullet went through a corrugated iron sheet at the store on Phraeksa Road in Muang district. 

 

A 9mm bullet was found on the floor after coming through the wall in a sleeping area of a lean-to next to the shop. 

 

It happened at 1 am as a consignment of watermelon was being handled.

It nearly hit the owner's wife who was sleeping at the time.

 

If she had been standing it might have killed her.

Lots of pointing was done as forensics police examined the area for clues. 

 

It looks as though two young people passing on a motorcycle going the wrong way down the road may have been responsible, reported 77kaoded.
