UN staff pension fund statement

Featured Replies

Any retired UN staff pensioner who is using the annual UNJSPF pension fund statement for extension of a one year Non Immigrant Visa and knows where to get this statement certified (in Bangkok)?

I used it to get my LTR  approval. BOI is more focused on substance than form they ask for any certification. So, as you are likely to have more than 80000 USD as pension, I'd suggest you consider this:  BOI/LTR.

Thanks Boomer, appreciate your quick answer. LTR I figured out is Long Term Resident but what is BOI?

Board of Investment - they manage the LTR program.

Sorry guys it's me again. I tried to get some information on the BOI website but couldn't find any details on how to apply for a LTR visa. I am a 80 year old UN retiree living in Thailand for quite some time already. So far the annual visa was granted on THB 800.000 bank statement but if I could change to an LTR visa that would be great. And yes as Boomer6969 guessed correctly I do have more than 80.000 USD pension annually.  Would really appreciate if you could guide me through this online jungle or at least give me a hint where to start with the registration/application, thanks in advance.
