Gaccha
The quoted gold price right now in Thailand looks like this. So for gold at 96.5% purity right now, Intergold will buy at 29,960 baht off you. ... what isn't clear to me is how much is that. My guess is 10 grams of gold but I can't find any mention, even after looking at several exchanges. Simple question, but what is the answer? Popular Post ozfarang
The prices quoted are for a baht of gold 1 baht = 15.244 grams 6 1
huangnon
Quote One Baht equals 15.244 g. Standard purity of Thai gold is 96.5%. Now that is different than 99.9% Thai gold. The actual gold content of one Baht by weight is 15.224 X 0.95965 so that equals 14.71046 g. In terms of troy ounces, that would come out to 0.473 troy ounces. The other thing to keep in mind is 15.244 g is used for bullion. For jewelry it is more like 15.16 g when you are talking about Baht weight gold. Bill97
Not 10 g, one Baht which is 15.3 grams or something afoot that.
Gaccha
This is interesting to compare with the simple, tiny 0.5g gold "flake" giftcards that Aurora etc sell on Lazada. These gift prizes don't vary much so it's interesting to see the rip-off margin.
Gaccha
A perfect example here. A 1 baht weight of gold from Aurora on Lazada right now. That's a 3%~ price uplift.

Currently about $1775 per ounce. Are all the values different in countries that use the metric system?
