Popular Post webfact Posted November 17, 2022 Popular Post Posted November 17, 2022 By Thai PBS World’s Political Desk Trairong Suwankiri’s recent appointment as Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha’s advisor has been hailed as a potential game-changer for the PM’s political future. The veteran politician’s surprise appointment on November 9 came just days after he quit the coalition Democrat Party, where his 38-year membership saw him rise to deputy leader. Trairong claimed that he only learned of his appointment as Prayut’s advisor after tendering his resignation on October 27. The 78-year-old politician’s transfer to Team Prayut coincided with growing speculation that the prime minister will be nominated by a new political party — Ruam Thai Sang Chart (United Thai Nation) — as its PM candidate to contest the next general election. However, Gen Prayut has kept his cards close to his chest, dodging media questions about his political future. In the previous national vote in 2019, Prayut was the sole PM candidate of the Palang Pracharath Party, which went on to form the current coalition government. However, he has left the public guessing over whether he will bid for the premiership with the ruling party again. He has never been a Palang Pracharath member or held an executive post in the party. Denim Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Team Prayut’s secret weapon for the next election : ??? ?? 1 1
Adumbration Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 No need for a secret weapon when the outcome is entirely predetermined. 1 1
bamnutsak Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Judging by the photo, it looks like Trairong is using the latest technological developments to plot a winning course for Prayut. Is that a "fountain pen"? Wow. Quite the piles on his desk, can't say that's a good look.

I had the misfortune to work with a guy like this and he had 6000+ unread emails in his inbox and accused others of poor management and communication. A total buffoon. Imagine the state of the rest of his house, probably like the field after a gypsy's wedding.

Prayut has spent the last 8 years fragmenting it, the rich get richer, the poor poorer and the social divide is wider than ever.

internationalism Posted November 18, 2022 Posted November 18, 2022 so prayuth will use defector from the democrat party, which is barely surviving at the general elections for over 20 years. surely there would be fierce opposition to hi work by the Democrats themselves, not making easy for prayuth to form an election block (not competing in with each other) and later parliamentary and governmental coalition
