Could do with some support and advice here ?
You've set out enough facts for a sensible person to know it is time to move on. She made is to 27/28 without you, she can survive again that way. By all means help her on her way in a kind and generous manner if you want to feel less bad, but get rid of her. You're young enough to find another. -

Two Men Electrocuted While Working in Paddy Field After Contacting Electric Wire
Two rice harvesters were electrocuted on October 7, in a paddy field in Sam Khok District, Pathum Thani, after mistakenly grabbing a live electric wire they thought was a grounding cable. Despite resuscitation efforts, both men died at the scene. The incident occurred at around 13:00 near the Prem Prachakorn Canal, Moo 2, Ban Pathum Subdistrict. Police and emergency services were alerted and arrived with medical examiners from the Ministry of Justice and rescue personnel from the Ruamkatanyu Foundation. Upon arrival, rescue workers and medical staff from Krung Siam Saint Carlos Hospital attempted to resuscitate the victims. Unfortunately, despite all efforts, the two men were pronounced dead shortly afterward. The victims were identified as Mr. Yossak, 58, from Chiang Rak Noi Subdistrict, and Mr. Phongsakorn, 18, from Tai Koh Subdistrict, both in Sam Khok District. Both men had severe burn marks on their bodies from the electric shock. Niphon, a 45-year-old tractor driver who was working alongside the victims, recounted the tragic events. He explained that they were hired to harvest rice and noticed a wire hanging over the paddy field. The victims believed it was just a grounding wire and offered to remove it. However, when they touched it, they were instantly electrocuted. Niphon quickly grabbed a wooden stick to dislodge the wire and called for help, but it was too late to save them. “I didn’t think something like this could happen,” Niphon said, visibly shaken. Police Lieutenant Chanikan Sethienshaikit of Sam Khok Police Station led the investigation at the scene. Authorities photographed the site for evidence, and the bodies of the two men were transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine under the Ministry of Justice for further examination. An autopsy will be carried out, though initial findings point to electrocution as the clear culprit. Picture from responders. -- 2024-10-08 -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
The argument is often used that this or that must not be true, because the expat community hasn't heard anything about it. I wondered for a moment how valid that is because it seems not to make much sense. I know from the many reports that there are plenty of Western expats who avoid other expats like the plague, I personally only know two or three and the rest of our friends are either Thai or other nationalities. I suppose if I hung out in the bar every day I might know more Western expats but there again, the news that flows from those sources can't be the most reliable. The Western newspapers here contain unreliable news so that leaves the small percentage of Western expats who populate these pages. The problem, I think, is that there probably isn't sufficient communications between Thais and Western expats at a senior level that promotes flows of useful information. Posters like Dogmatix are, in my twenty years in the forum, a rare find here and are the exception. I think this is perhaps a symptom of us overstating our own importance in Thailand yet again, the fact is that lots of things happen that we don't know about or understand. Which is why it doesn't seem reasonable to say that just because we don't know about something, means it is not true. -

ZONTES 350
Zontes even now has an ADV model, with on paper spec superior to Forza and ADV 350, but we need a lot more reports and feedbacks to see if it's as good in real life. Chinese bikes are actually survive the first year or two with no major issues, it's after that they might fail and cause problem. Although might lose a nut or bolt here or there, but nothing major early on... If there are dealers around to bring their spare parts, it will probably be cheap to maintain and repair, but I don't see many dealers...! Yet.
