Where do you get that from? Internet and power grid here in Thailand is generally very reliable (except when some bozo truck driver takes down a power pole as happened in our soi last Sunday). The MEA had a new pole installed in a few hours and 3BB were still working at 7pm to splice in new fibre optic lines to all the street by end of the night.

Now leave Bangkok and you'll find a lot of smaller towns and villages where most of the population lives, the power generally goes off whenever there's any kind of rain or wind for anything up to 12 hours or more at a time...

Which is why they need solar and wind power which don't rely so much on the grid.

Thais as diligent and apt as anywhere when trained up. You’re hardly going to be seeing Somchai from the village playing with the rods!

Check This one, Samut Prakan radiation accident

Yup. Just what many countries need. There's an interesting web site right here. The problem with renewables is that there will always be an energy storage problem for when the source is not around, like nighttime for instance.

Many hydro power set ups use low consumption times to pump water back to the reservoir, effectively storing the energy for later use.

It's FREE. USA is giving Thailand a Small Nuclear Reactor. Heck, maybe they can trade it for some submarine engines. Win Win for Thai's again.

No, trade the reactor for the immobile Chinese submarines. Maybe no secrets in the export model, though.

Nuclear is the best way to go for a nation that has few natural resources.  Wind, Solar and Batteries are a folly or a scam. I'm not sure which.  The physics do not add up.
I suggest that you watch a view videos from people that have actually done the calculation.  But to get anyone interested here's a bit about the electric cars...

A post using a foreign language has been removed:

Short Thai translations of technical terms are permitted in specialty forums. While we make allowances for members who do not speak English as their first language, we expect everyone to make an effort to post in a manner that allows others to understand their posts. Thailand and nuclear.. what could possibly go wrong?

Well for a country why thinks Thai electricity is different to Western  ectricity and there is no need for earthing of power systems and the floor drainage is always at the highest point of the floor because high water can run up hill, the answer is nothing (can go wrong).

the problem with nuclear power is it has been updated like a bloody computer, every five minutes there a heap of changes, so many changes that the people of the world would not be able to keep up with them, but the latest is looking like it might be a good idea, what country has them, what did they cost, how much power do they provide, is there nuclear waist etc.etc. and will they work on Mars?
