Daily News Thai Caption: Waiting for confirmation!

A father and his son are under interrogation after an old lady was found in an old freezer for storing chicken.

She had her mouth duct taped. But apart from this there were no other suspicious circumstances, reported Daily News.

It is now up to investigators to ascertain whether it was murder or not.

The body was found by Akharaphon, 33. She is 58 year old Janthira Kaewpongpok, his mother.

She had been suffering from mental illness.

The freezer was no longer in use for storing chicken and the plug was not in. It was in a house in Moo 3 of Wat Bot sub-district of Wat Bot district of Phitsanulok, northern Thailand.

She had been missing for four days before she was found on Saturday.

The son said his mum was beset with financial worries from regular loans and loan sharks.

She had left a note in her own handwriting saying she wanted to end it all.

Though relatives are in two minds as to what happened to her.

Yesterday the Wat Bot police said they invited Akharaphon and Theerayuth, 57, the deceased's husband in for questioning.

There seemed nothing irregular in their stories. Police were also interviewing neighbors.

It happened in an area of high population density, where everyone knows each other's business.

The victim often went missing in the past leading to missing persons reports to police though none were made this time. She often left on her bicycle.

Police said they had been pro-active taking DNA from family members.

But for now they are waiting on autopsy results to see what injuries there were on the body, if any.

These were initially hard to determine due to the level of decomposition that had already occurred.

Autopsy results are due today.

She had her mouth duct taped and she was in a freezer - clear case of suicide
