We should listen and understand concerns and different opinions and come up with reasonable solutions to meet halfway, but suggesting total prohibition and making people criminals, wasting the resources of the criminal justice system, for consuming, selling, or cultivating cannabis again is not the answer to this issue.

Thailand - Thai Public Health Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said today to the Thai media that in his opinion cannabis cannot be reverted back into an illegal narcotic drug and he is not overly concerned with a proposal by cannabis opponents to try to ban the plant entirely again.

Anutin thinks he's god too now.

If it gets re criminalized Anutin will have egg on his face, which is good?

But what is bad is many Thais have spent lots of money on businesses selling the stuff, what will happen to them?

Revert to what they did before?

They are "meeting to discuss".

This step follows the formation of a committee in the Thai government operating flow chart.

After the "discussion" the NCB may comment on their discussions.

No one, other than a "Court" makes decisions, and even those are often "suggestions".

Re-criminalizing Cannabis will require much more effort than allowing it to maintain its current status.

They need to close all places selling cannabis. All online sellers as well. Anyone caught selling, trafficking or smoking should be put in prison.

Are you just being a Troll?

I am anti "weed", for very personal reasons, but your post is extreme and uncalled for!

Why? Throwing druggies in prison. What’s wrong with that? Why is it extreme?

We are all entitled to our own opinions.

You have made your extreme views known, which I disagree with!

Therefore, this is the end of my "discussion" with you on this subject!

So instead of discussing it like a rational human, you shut up shop because you disagree with someone. Nice.
