  • Coward, even allowing for alcohol there is no excuse to beat up a young girl who probably weighs less than a wet tea bag. If she has been unfaithful, or been caught stealing then simply pack her

  • I hope this girl gets away from this brute.... he obviously has an issue with alcohol and will do it again.

  • yes ......   I wouldn't be surprised to read of farang goes missing next week.

He should leave Thailand. Voluntarily or otherwise. There is no place in society here for him. Away with thee....

Police not going to press charges. Isn't assault and battery a crime here?

It requires a complainant, evidence and witnesses, so far, without the girls co-operation they don't have any of that.

This guy is a nice guy, but his lady has attacked him several times, clearly he had enough and pushed her away and she went through the window by the looks of it. He should have dumped her after the first attack.

Too many beta males these days siding with women instantly, in the hope that they will reach out and profess their love towards them.

Too many people quick to judge wishing people are harmed

That clears it up then.

Shouldn't be hard for the cop to say, I saw him, that is, if he wanted to get involved, so to speak, but I guess if there's nothing in it for him here, why would he bother, just another domestic.

Sad as this guy will do it again, if not to her, to someone else.

I see many comments on this site regarding corrupt police and here we have you encouraging such actions.

The mind boggles !!!

the glass door in the picture which was shattered, to me, meant that she went straight through it.

Why should that be the explanation?  Slamming the door could shatter it as could things being thrown around.

There are more pictures around with her lying on the floor outside

The problem with that would be that the police did not witness anything.

6 months to a Year in the clink should do it. I seriously doubt he'd harm a fly after 6 months in a thai prison.

testicles to be removed by some guys already in clink too!!

As unacceptable as this type of behaviour is I don't see why this topic should be headline news

It's not "headline news", it's just another reported story among many others.

nobody has the right to beat their girlfriend or boyfriend!!

Do people have the right to defend themselves, regardless of their gender?

Yes, Thaivisa, a breeding ground for many members' hypocrisy.

And?

Don't you think that the girl would have mentioned it if the boyfriend had "thrown her through the door"?

Good point, but never forget revenge, it consumes some folks and must be fulfilled even years later.

Jail then deportation direct from jail on the day he's released perhaps much better.

While after reading the initial report I was part of the hang em high brigade, I should like to temporarily put my rage into check until we know the full story here.

There seems to be discrepancy about who really kicked this off, so I would prefer to reserve judgement until all the evidence is on the table.

The Thai press have a habit of biased reporting.

Let's not forget that a few weeks ago the Thai press were reporting about 2 Frenchmen who viciously attacked a poor defenseless Thai for simply admiring their car.

What actually happened is still not clear but it was nothing like what was reported.

Agree, but only after he gets lost in the system, for, let us say, a couple of weeks. During which time he unfortunately tripped up on his shoelace, about twenty times......

If that were my sister, would gladly pay a cop to break his legs, nothing wrong with that, job done.

If that is called encouraging them, I'm, all for it.

I too am shocked to read this story. I would however point out that at 20 years old the victim is a woman, not a "young girl".

Agree with you, but at my age any Female under 30 is a young girl...............

Would love to hear, farang who beat young 20 year old girl in the previous week was found with two broken legs, two broken arms, a broken jaw and a broken nose.

That should do it.

She needs to get away from this gutless piece of tur-d.

Can't understand how the cops cannot press charges, assault is assault, end of story, regardless if a victim doesn't want to press charges in my opinion.

Ah, if I was a cop at the scene, I would have to report to my commander and chief that the farang ended up in the above condition because he fell of the balcony, and if my commander and chief said it's only a single story place, I would say yes boss, but he walked up the road in a drunken state and entered a medium rise building and fell to the ground, not sure where he fell from or what he was doing there, I just found him there on the ground :stoner:

Any police officer in the UK will tell you that domestic violence cases are notoriously difficult to manage. often the victims will refuse to make a complaint and actually lie saying that it was an accident etc. The police cannot make a case if the victim categorically denies it was him it would be a waste of police resources and thrown out of court. So, they wait for her to make an official complaint to demonstrate that she will cooperate and give evidence against him. I think he should have his visa revoked and be thrown out of Thailand, never allowed to return, for being drunk and aggressive to police officers, which can be proved without her evidence.

At what weight does it constitute an excuse?

Non whatsoever Sir, there is no excuse. I was merely pointing out there is probably a huge difference in size and weight between the two. Thereby exacerbating the fact that he nothing more than a coward.

the inmates of the nick that he goes to will be informed of the farang slapping around a young defenseless Thai girl and will be waiting for him with a 'welcoming committee'.

Some years ago out in Ubon, a farang came home stinking drunk to his wife sleeping on the floor. After she refused to have sex with him, he kicked her to death. While in the Ubon prison he somehow made it up to the roof, where he then "fell off, trying to escape". The end.

Blacklist him for 5 or 10 year and send him back to his home country! That would help a lot to get rid of all those morons who just come here for trouble!!

My guess is that the Thai woman cheated on her boyfriend so she pretty much deserved the beating. Or she tried to scam him.

I hope she learned something from this.

I don't see why victims' names should be withheld just because they're under...what: 21? 25? Is 20 a minor in Thailand?

What do we need her name for

Probably a tourist police volunteer. There are many Russian and Belorussian nationals in Pattaya serving as Tourist Police volunteers.
