I am travelling to Nong Khai/Laos tomorrow (friday) with a group from Khon Kaen, most of them are on 30 day entry stamps, does anyone have first hand information with regard to the onward ticket rule being enforced at the Nong Khai Friendship Bridge?

Further to this thread, all the members of our group who were on "30 day entry" stamps re-entered Thailand without being asked for evidence of onward travel, it was not even mentioned. It would seem that there are different requirements at the various border crossings.
