Koh Samui Tourism Body Asks For More Flights During High Season

AMID fears of losing business opportunity during the high season that starts next month, Koh Samui Tourism Promotion Association called for increased local and international flights to meet the needs of foreign tourists eager to travel to the resort island, Matichon newspaper said this afternoon (Nov. 23).

Thai medical tourism sector is roaring back from Covid-19 pandemic, analysts say

With Covid-era travel restrictions now relaxed, Thailand is once again underlining its reputation in the medical field by drawing in visitors wanting to benefit from the country’s natural attractions while also taking care of their medical problems. But while visitors are returning, analysts predict the industry will not rebound significantly until 2023 when touristnumbers really pick up.

Inbound Ram Intra flyover in Bangkok closed following accident

In-bound lanes of the approach to the flyover at the Ram Intra Road intersection have been closed by police since early this morning (Thursday), after a six-wheel truck, belonging to Thailand Post, crashed into a utility pole and tipped onto its side.

Thai Eateries, Street Food Stalls Received Bib Gourmand Award

BANGKOK, Nov 24 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is pleased with the 189 eateries and street food stalls in the country that received the Bib Gourmand Award from Michelin, according to the government spokesman.
