Toyota bursts into flames at Ratchada/Lad Phrao intersection

INN reported that fire services were called after a Toyota with Bangkok plates burst into flames.

 

The car was in flames on Ratchada inbound near the entrance to the MRT station at the Ratchada/Lad Phrao intersection yesterday.

 

There were no reports of injuries and the Pahonyothin police were investigating the cause of the fire.

I think you'll find its human operated.

If it were a battery fire from an EV, it would be nowhere near as feeble.

Probably a rubbish apple phone charger..

or an older Samsung phone, you know the ones that spontaneously combust?

 

More likely as previously stated a gas conversion badly installed.  Looks like a Altis so not an EV.
