Chonburi — A knife-wielding robber pulled a dramatic card after getting arrested for robbing a gas station worker in Banglamung, Chonburi.


The suspect, 21-year-old Nawaphon “Yaw” Phonrob, was nabbed on Tuesday, November 29th, at 1:30 PM by Banglamung police. On November 27th, Yaw robbed a gas station worker, 42-year-old Ms. Warunee Phokaew, at knifepoint and took 3,000 baht in cash from her, Warunee told police.

 

The victim said Yaw threatened to stab her if she did not give him the money. She filed a police report after the incident, which led the police to arrest the suspect at his house in the Takhian Tia subdistrict of Banglamung, Chonburi.
