Finland's Sanna Marin says Europe would be in trouble without US

Finnish PM Sanna Marin has said Europe is "not strong enough" to stand up to Russia's invasion of Ukraine on its own, and has had to rely on US support.

During a visit to Australia, the leader of the pending Nato member said Europe's defences must be strengthened.

"I must be brutally honest with you, Europe isn't strong enough right now," she said. "We would be in trouble without the United States."

Have to agree with her. But ironically it was her home video prancing around with her "powder gang"(1) in the early hours of the morning(and subsequent lies) that made me finally realize the liberal (read woke) European leaders that are clearly out of their depth are a real danger to the world. There is only one reason a group of friends would shout this, and her weasely denial says it all about her strength of character and lack of moral compass. Ms. Marin has 'weak' (my word)  " ... strength of character and lack of moral compass"? and " ... liberal ... European leaders that are clearly out of their depth and a real danger to the world".

 

How can you tell all this from a home video of her partying?

How does your link back up those unfounded claims you made? All it says being:

The 36-year-old politician said she was willing to take a drug test to put the matter to bed, but lamented the fact her partying in a “private space” was made public."

Could be a nickname often used about women when getting into area that is traditionally mens: In US we have "powder puff football" for example. Going out on a a limb, maybe even super hero  "Power puff" girls is allusion to powder puff in that men are usually super heroes.

Or maybe she likes Bolivian marching powder...

She does a good job being prime minister ... why not leave her private life ... private ?

And she is right about the EU depending on military support from the US .

The times are changing by now , threats from autocratic regimes are rising , time the EU builds up a capable defense force by themselves ...

??? I am defending her from the previous poster who suggested she is a floozy young liberal.

 

I am championing her for her strength, ability to learn quickly, and hit the nail on the head saying the only way out is for Russia leave Ukraine. Also love the way she belittled the reporters with a mike drop laugh and walking away. Classic.
