Saturday 17 December

Activity

Ø  Grounding with Crystals and Fairy Stone by Fah Chanettee (2.30 PM – 3.30 PM) - Fairy stone is a unique stone from Canada which is known to carry natural spirit energy and is excellent for grounding. Experience the healing energy of fairy stone together with some other crystals.

For over 18 years in the wellness field, Fah has explored naturally motivated approaches from around the world, including herbal medicines and nutrition, a wide range of eastern and western massage techniques such as Thai massage, Abhyanga and Shirobhyanga, Mukha-Shirodara, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Aromatherapy, as well as holistic energy healing, crystal and lithotherapy.

Fah’s healing therapies center on the philosophy that as we learn to understand the body, we create the ability to listen to the body’s innate intelligence. Focusing on inspiring clients and students with her passion for the power of body therapy led her to initiate the distinguished and unique regimen.

Ø  Exploring nature with your five senses by Pearypie (4.30 PM – 5.30 PM) - Sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch; how do you use your five senses? Activities in this workshop will allow us to experience nature through the five senses in a creative way and full of surprises. In addition, Pearypie will share her own discovery of how nature can be therapeutic and heal the mind in simple, easy ways that can be done at home.

Sunday 18 December

Ø  Shamanic Breathwork by Kay & Dao (2.30 PM – 4 PM) - Just you and your breath can result in a profound spiritual experience. Lungs are known to produce DMT (Dimethyltryptamine), a neural transmitter, like serotonin, that is always present in most animals and plants, us included. It’s hypothesized that DMT regulates the level of consciousness. Hence, deep and intense breathing will simulate the lungs to produce DMT endogenously, resulting in a shift in one’s consciousness. Some may feel an emotional release, some may feel the energetic presence of the surrounding, some may go into a trance-like state and discover one’s inner-self. It’s a simple, yet intense work, that needs dedication to get oneself across, and it’s totally worth it.

At the end of the session, the body will be extra sensitive to vibrational energies, a perfect state to receive the blissful energy of the singing bowls in the sound journey, alleviating blockades, and gradually bringing us back to whole-body balance.

* WARNING: this workshop is not suitable for those with heart conditions or high blood pressure.

Ancestral Forest by SUGI

Partnering with SUGi, this year Wonderfruit will be planting a 1.6 hectre interactive sensory forest using the Miyawaki Method that will become home to an abundance of functional and medicinal species. Within this, they'll be integrating Sonic Element’s sound installation (Wood) into the forest with listening spaces to layer different experience senses with nature. Family workshops engaging with various species of the forest trees e.g. making compost tea, tree message tagging, seed bomb making.

Flower Obsession (Sunflower); inspiration, draft sketch and reference:

"Flowers indicate the great mystery and the beauty and wonderfulness/admirability of life, for our planet earth and the life we are living. Among flowers, the sunflower particularly attracts me for its liveliness and gorgeousness. We cannot stop our existence as well as we cannot escape from our death. In order to overcome anxiety and fear, I have created them as artworks and obliterated myself within. 'Self Obliteration' is to lose self-existence by committing self to a flow of infinite time that perpetually moves forward. It would be great if we can all obliterate ourselves to build a world of peace and love for humanity.” – Yayoi Kusama
