fredwiggy
Just came back from visiting America. I have a visa with one entry and used that this time. How can I apply for a second one to visit Vietnam within the same year my visa is eligible? My visa expires in June and I'm thinking of visiting Vietnam sometime in March or April. Caldera
You can apply for another re-entry permit at either your immigration office ahead of your trip or at the airport when you fly out.
DrJack54
You can buy reentry permit. Single is 1000baht. Multiple is 3800baht.

You state "just came back from visiting America" Added note: if your passport is USA you need to apply for a single entry 30 day tourist evisa to enter Vietnam. fredwiggy
It's a non O single entry. I've been here over 5 years but that was the first time I've left. I thought when you visit Vietnam, you get a 30 day when you arrive at the airport.

Previously you obtained a "letter if approval" which you presented with pp on arrival and waited and finally they returned pp with one page visa sticker. This is for countries that do not qualify for visa waiver. USA and AU being 2 examples. Correctly only eVisa 30 day tourist visa is available and that's done online prior to travel. BTW you state that you have been here for years. Your visa is long gone. You are living in Thailand on extensions of stay. Good to know about having to get an eVisa for Vietnam.
