Musk says US has been harmed by having Warren as senator

She noted that Musk’s deal to buy Twitter gave Tesla $1 billion yearly interest payments to make, an amount which exceeds its annual cash flow.

I think you meant that the deal gave Twitter 1 billion in yearly interest payments to make. Tesla is a publicly owned corporation. It couldn't fund musk's private company.

Is he though? The Boring Company? Neuralink? Which ironically enough actually wants to implant chips in humans.

Maybe he's "innovative" about lining up lots of baby-mamas (usually female employees at one of his "companies") to have his twins and triplets?

Twitter is based on GSM/SMS technology which is hardly "innovative"?

Those Twitter Files (Trust No One) were a bust. Still waiting for Matt Taibbi's "Part 2" due "tomorrow".

Mudk didn't invent Twitter, he bought it. Why he ever wanted it in the first place is the ???? ???? crazy part. Not here to defend Musk, but Tesla is a helluva vehicle snd success. SpaceX is out of this world successful. Starlink is doing well. Neuralink and Boring are still in the works. Not (yet anyway) failures at all, but rather potential Hi-Tech of the future. Every inventor has their failures, but Musk has more hits than misses, including becoming the 2nd wealthiest person on Earth because of his success. Not too shabby.

There's no doubt that Musk has an extremely formidable intellect. But not in all areas. Clearly when it comes to human relations, he's got a lot of deficits. And in a social media company, if you haven't got that, then at least you should have enough sense to keep out of the fray. But thanks to the Dunning-Kruger effect, Musk seems to be incapable of appreciating that.

Yes, we all know that.

I guess my point is, what is so innovative about musk's purchase of Twitter? Nothing.

Meh x2 on both the "vehicle" and the "success".

You're conflating wealth and success with "innovativeness". Fail. Yes, he's rich. I was questioning how "innovative" he really is or was.

Siri, How many patents does Elon Musk have?

A very quick search shows that Musk has three utility patents (i.e. actual inventions)

Time to Close Down the Elon Musk Circus

The press has been falling for the Twitter owner’s antics for too long.

Musk’s barrel-riding talents have been on conspicuous view since he bid for Twitter earlier this year, and especially so since he bought it last month. But he’s always been a champ at calling attention to himself, concocting promises and predictions about making his Tesla cars capable of self-driving, about an imminent manned landing on Mars by his SpaceX company, about the humanoid robots he’s allegedly building, and many other similarly unfulfilled pledges.

Maybe instead of looking for someone to replace himself at Twitter, he should be looking for a new Tesla CEO.

Tesla shares tumble, on track for worst month ever

Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) shares are on track for their worst month ever as a sell-off deepened on Thursday over worries about softening demand for electric cars and Chief Executive Elon Musk's distraction with Twitter.

The stock dropped almost 10% on Thursday to their lowest level since September 2020 after the automaker's website showed it was offering $7,500 discounts on Model 3 and Model Y electric vehicles delivered in the United States this month.

Tesla's stock has tumbled 36% so far in December, putting it on track for its worst ever monthly performance. By comparison, Tesla's shares dropped 22% in March 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic tipped financial markets into a tailspin.
