What kind of visa for most of the charter flight folks..hard to believe they all are elite visa? Are Russian credit cards accepted in Thailand? Are Russians able to transfer funds from Russian banks to thai banks? If not how do they get sufficient $$ to live on? I was pre-teen during that war, but know enough from relatives and friends whose parents served to never comment about the war being a picnic without having real experience. You were glad to state that Nam was a picnic, but ran away from the fight. I made no claims of being there, but I know enough to not call Vietnam a picnic. Nothing to do with Grandstanding. STALINGRAD Posted January 7, 2023 Share Posted January 7, 2023 Education visas are the way most young Russians stay.There was talk recently the Thai government was cracking down on abuses.With the education visa in hand they head to Bangkok bank and open accounts where they can convert cash to pre loaded credit cards and transfer money directly from Russian bank accounts.
