AN ALLEGED police letter to a former deputy prime minister who had an affair with a married woman which is circulating online today (Jan. 11) states that progress had been made on fraud charges he had filed against the couple and the woman’s parents, Matichon newspaper said.

This follows Mr. Sittra Biabungkerd, a well-known lawyer, having revealed that his client, only identified as Khun Kor, filed for divorce from his wife on Dec. 30 over the affair she had with the ex-deputy premier whose first name initial is “Yor” and who was linked to the Interior Ministry. Moreover he was a member of Pheu Thai Party from 2008 to 2018 and liked playing golf but not at Alpine golf course.

In this alleged police letter dated Jan. 10 and signed by an inspector at Bangyikhan police station, the former deputy premier was told that a police report on fraud charges against the first three suspects,  Ms. Thanyawarin, the woman he was involved with, Mr. Jirawut, her estranged husband and Mrs. Thanyawan, her mother, had been completed.

So the ex-minister is trying to sue the three for what?

Telling the truth?

you're a fraud.

you're not the person you portrayed yourself to be.

What has playing golf and "not at the Alpine Club" have any relevance in this weird story?

What immediately came to my mind was typical elite defence mode: sue them as you have more money than them and can weather it, call in favours with plod as you are an elite.

It's an attempt at humour. Google 'Taksin and Alpine Golf Course'
