Alleged Drunk Driver Survives Collision with Power Pole in Pattaya

Pattaya — An alleged drunk driver who was driving home from a party in Pattaya crashed into an electricity pole and sustained injuries yesterday, January 22nd.


At 6 AM, Sawang Boriboon rescue workers were alerted to the accident in Soi Pattaya Sukhumvit 20 in the Nongprue subdistrict of Banglamung district, Chonburi.


The victim, Mr. Narong Jaiharn, was trapped in his sedan and seemed intoxicated, said the rescue team.

'While being bewildered, the man confessed to the rescuers that he had previously drunk alcohol at a party in Pattaya and was heading home. He admitted that he could not control his car and rammed into a power pole."

 

What's happening ... a Thai driver admitting guilt , not brake failure, slippery or dark road, or fell asleep .....

Now the drunk driver is considered "The victim". <deleted>!

No.  He pays for the pole and still gets locked up.

 

That's why the carnage is allowed to continue here.  Too many paying their way out.
