Air quality in Bangkok and 6 northern provinces to worsen Friday-Saturday

The problem of PM2.5 dust in the atmosphere in Bangkok and its suburbs, as well as in six northern provinces, is forecast to get worse this Friday and Saturday, said the Pollution Control Department.

Damrongsak Kittipraphat said there are grounds to allegations that the wife of Chinese grey business suspect Mr. Chaiyanat “Tu Hao” Kornchaiyanan and other suspects have, upon being bailed out, intimidated witnesses and tampered with evidence, Naewna newspaper said.

Phitsanulok’s Nam Dok Mai Si Thong Mangoes Registered as GI Product

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Commerce has announced the registration of Nam Dok Mai Si Thong mangoes from Phitsanulok province as a new geographical indication (GI) product. The GI certification will add more market value to the fruit and generate more income for local farmers.

Koh Samui welcomes first Taiwanese tour group in 3 years

The first Taiwanese tour group has returned to Koh Samui after a near 3-year hiatus as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Phuket Express reports that 142 Taiwanese visitors arrived on the island according to the Samui Tourism Association.
