Popular Post webfact
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, left, and former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, right. Photo: Thai Rath By Thai Newsroom Reporters PRIME MINISTER PRAYUT Chan-o-cha today (Jan.25) immediately lost his head when asked to respond to comments made last night by his deposed predecessor Thaksin Shinawatra about the next general election. At one point during a press conference at the National Police headquarters, Prayut was obviously frustrated at a reporter’s call for him to respond to Thaksin’s comments made via a live podcast that the current prime minister would not dissolve the House of Representatives anytime soon due to the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party’s unfinished preparations to set up its provincial branches nationwide as required by law for their planned contest in the general election. “Don’t mention that person. I just don’t like it,” irritable Prayut told the reporters and quickly walked away toward a waiting motorcade. Without mentioning Thaksin by name, Prayut referred to the deposed premier who has been looking to return home after 16 years in self-exile overseas. Popular Post OneMoreFarang
I remember when Thaksin was PM he had a red card which he held up when reporters asks questions which he didn't like. Maybe Prayut should also get such a card. Maybe this one. 2 1

Popular Post spidermike007
This rather thin skinned man is set off quite easily. He likely either has some serious self esteem issues, or hates his job. So, one would wonder, why does he want to continue? Is it just a pathological need to be considered powerful? When is enough, enough? Edited January 25, 2023 by spidermike007 18 7

Popular Post jcmj
Poor baby. Did you not get your milk this morning? He is a joke of a so called leader. This fool has never be able to handle criticism. The only thing he knows is scare tactics and how to change the laws as needed to keep himself in power. Thin skinned is being polite. 7 3

Sort of like "Tell us how good you are and how you benefit the country." It seems that when anyone poses some critical questions they get slapped down. Not unlike the 2 young girls on hunger strike at the moment. Asking pertinent questions concerning the monarchy, and they get arrested. No wonder they dont teach critical teaching skills in schools.

Thaksin cheated and bragged about it.

Popular Post Spock
Thaksin unfortunately lost any support I might have given when he declared the shoot on site policy to rid the country of drugs. Puts him on the same level as Dutertes in the Philippines. Prayut is just an autocratic military officer working a job that requires a much higher level of competence and a willingness to usher in some much needed change. Though I guess he did preside over the legalisation of marijuana, so he has done one thing right. 1
