Annoying car exhaust problem.

I had an annoying rattle from the back end of the car exhaust, it sounded like a loose baffle or something so I was going to get it looked at on the next service.

 

Then I noticed: -

 

 

Did that get in there all by itself?

 

Ya think?

You sure the stone is the cause of the rattle, sometimes components inside and exhaust box can break and cause rattles.

This is Thailand anything is possible , after you removed it did the rattle stop.

You may have a few more of those stones whirling around in the box, we used to do that sort of thing when I was a rotten kid...........????

Yeah, that's what I thought at first, a loose baffle etc.

 

But the annoying sound went away with the rock ????
