Trump touts Pence as ‘honorable man’ in light of special counsel subpoena

Former President Trump touted former Vice President Mike Pence as an “honorable man” on Friday, following reports that Pence had received a subpoena from the Department of Justice’s special counsel investigating Trump on multiple fronts.

 

“Mike Pence is an honorable man,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News Digital on Friday.

 

Trump’s remarks come one day after reports emerged that Special Counsel Jack Smith had subpoenaed his former vice president.

One reason for Trump's reversal may be that Pence has now been subpoenaed by Jack Smith, the Special Counsel investigating Trump. Trump's conduct here follows the same pattern as the case of the prosecution of The Trump Organization in which Trump had nothing but kind words for Wesselberg, his CGO despite the fact that Wesselberg repeatedly violated the law and got the Trump organization into lots of legal hot water and convicted on all 17 counts against it. It's pretty obvious why Trump wouldn't want to antagonize Wesselberg. Why not the same motivation when it comes to Pence?

When it was convenient. He had many, many opportunities to act honorably prior to 11:30 AM on January 6. He participated in a meeting on Dec. 21 at the White House where, Matt Gaetz (who was there, obstensibly to beg for a pardon) says Pence was encouraging the insurrectionists.

And/or maybe Pence got wind of something nefarious in the effort to move him away from the Capitol?

 

 

If I were Jack Smith I'd have a female attorney question Pence in the Grand Jury, that will put him off as he will be without "Mother".

If in same position, I believe everyone if sane would had checked the legality of what the president asked, so it was easier to say he did not had the authority to execute his orders. 

 

America need one hero that day, dont ruin it now? 

 

If true or not, it can as well be internal fight for the power. 

 

Pence would at least do better than the 45 and 46, but sake, hopefully some sane new potential 47 will appear in time!

I do belive pence to be honorable but I don’t believe he will willingly throw trump under the bus ???? I do belive that the special council will ask the correct questions and pence tho (squirming) will when forced will answer  everything truthfully
