According to SVT Nyheter, a 23-year-old man from Stockholm is being prosecuted – suspected of having led a network selling pornographic images and videos of thousands of young women and girls in Thailand.

The man is charged with serious child pornography offenses and gross illegal invasion of privacy. At least 4,000 victims, mainly in Thailand, has allegedly been secretly recorded in connection with video calls.

The images and videos showing the plaintiffs in a sexual context have since been sold through a social media platform. Often together with personal information about the victims.

“They did not know that they were recorded and that the content was then sold and distributed. In several cases, information about the victims has been shared. Information such as which school they attend along with their profile picture on Facebook or Instagram,” said Anneli Tirud Wallin, the chamber prosecutor who led the Swedish part of the investigation.

So he banged 4000 girls, yeah right. Most likely just screenshotted girls onlyfans, and they found no way of making a cut. Something is not right.

What if the underaged were doing it voluntarily, does that make profiting from child pornography ok?

Absolutely not...

Guilty.

Firstly, according to the original source, only six instances out of the many thousands involved girls under 18.  So I don't think this is some kind of huge child sex ring, more likely some footage of 16 - 17 year old got captured.

Secondly the number of photos and videos is enormous, in the 10's of 1000's, so I doubt 1:1 interactions were involved. More likely hacking or illegal grabbing of OF or webcams etc..

Pity you were unable to read the OP...or, at least comprehend it.

"Most likely just screenshotted girls onlyfans..."

Minors can create OnlyFans accounts?  Since when?

I was just listening to a podcast and the guest said this is the exact reason he abandoned Liberalism, that being there was no liberal/secular argument against child sexual exploitation. This is a perfect example of that.

They say part of what makes people think it is ok is the use of the term child pornography. Child abuse content.

Disgusting rubbish, stop inventing fairy tales. There are laws in every country covering child sexual exploitation.

Calm down. I'm saying from the secular/liberal perspective it's reasonable to conclude that if the child is not being harmed then it's not immoral. That comment was a perfect example of that. This is just philosophy I'm talking about.

The original commenter suggested the children may have consented and thus weren't harmed. This is the point that all pedophiles makes. Better keep an eye on it because these things are becoming more mainstream and will likely be the next push in liberalizing sexuality (like gay marriage was not too long ago). Look up "minor attracted persons or MAPs"  to see what is being said.

I'm attacking your claim as follows:

"I'm saying from the secular/liberal perspective it's reasonable to conclude that if the child is not being harmed then it's not immoral. "

Nothing to do with the "original commenter".

Ok, then I'll ask: what if the child consents, was the child harmed then?
