During a security council meeting at the United Nations, Ukraine's foreign minister, Dmytro Kuleba, asked for a minute of silence to be held in memory of all those who lost their lives due to 'Russian aggression'. The silence was interrupted by Russia's representative, who could be seen raising his hand during the tribute. Russia's UN ambassador, Vasily Nebenzya, said: 'All lives are priceless ... we are rising to remember the memory [of all the victims],' before the minute's silence resumed. The meeting was held on the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

He's the security council's chairperson, is he?

Remove him from all UN meetings until he learns how to behave in public.

I am stunned and shocked that the Russian representative would interject during a minute's silence aimed at "Russian aggression" NOT.

Stay classy Russian officials. God forbid you should surprise us with a touch of human decency.

I was expecting him to bang his shoe on the table.........

In the UN vote to condemn Russia and call for an immediate withdrawal of their military from Ukraine territory, even China abstained from voting.

Interesting to note that the Myanmar UN ambassador voted in favour of the resolution, no doubt much to the annoyance of the junta chaps in Naypyidaw ????
