Well, when one has splashed out all those spondulicks on one of those elaborate silk "Dr No tunics," it only makes sense to get the wear out of it!

It is certainly not because they are captivated by his charm and personality, judging by the looks on the faces of the two stooges flanking him in the OP photograph!

The PPP members resigning will go to the UTN/Prayut.

The Dem members will go to either PPP or UTN.

Assuming they get "elected".

Thai-style democracy in action, or more colloquially, the "Pre-election".

All those lawmakers who have just called it quits were known to be joining the Ruam Thai Sang Chart under whose tickets Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is contesting to prolong his rule in a general election tentatively scheduled for May 7.

I thought rats always left a sinking ship... but then again Thailand is backwards.

Any politician who lines up with the general is obviously anti-democratic

Yes they are, that's the politicians, but keep in mind there will still be the generals/senators.

Doesn't matter the proposed political identity that they may wish to abandoned, jump to similar or form anew - the club remains the same in it's essence.

Nothing really changes.....not even the rhetoric.

Mostly for show and features for the gullible press and electorate.

Same as it ever was.
