Siam Rath reported on a TikTok video being widely commented upon under the name "ididnttellyou72" that showed a man battling a fire in the back of his pick-up.

It had been caused by his "nong's" casually discarded cigarette butt.

Most of the burning items were removed before a bottle of water was deployed.

Then a water truck arrived to help finish the job.

It was all accompanied by some appropriate Thai music.
