Excitement is building ahead of the first-ever Racer Marina Hua Hin Boat Show which will take place in Pak Nam Pran from March 24 to 26.

 

The event promises to be the highlight of the boating calendar in the region, attracting boating enthusiasts from across the country.

 

The Racer Marina Hua Hin Boat Show will showcase a selection of boats as well as a variety of marine accessories and equipment.

 

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak to industry experts, view boats close up and purchase the latest equipment from some of Thailand’s leading suppliers and brokers.

Does Hua Hin even have a marina for boats? One of the reasons the Gulf is of so little interest to yachtsmen is the lack of marinas, service facilities and ports of interest. 

 

Is this another case of the Thai officials grossly over estimating their attraction to the outside world? Putting the cart before the horse? In most nations, you build the marinas and facilities, then the yachts come.

Actually the Racer Marina is inland, so protected, and on a wide waterway:

It should be named Pranburi marina...quite far really from HH......but right up there with their prices! Too expensive
