Pink7
Today im testing out the ATS before prepare to mount it up. I connected 2 wires to house grid power as 2 power sources and outpower to a light. All working when turn switch myself but there is no auto switch happening. When i remove the active power source it just close the light. Any ideas whats wrong? Auto/manual option is set to auto. Crossy
U got the manual? (or any documentation) No experience of that switch but I think there's supposed to be something connected to that green connector.

Crossy
You could try contacting the seller (yeah, right) Are there any markings on the green connector? Try connecting it like this (all three L connected together): -
carlyai
See that little bank of connectors on top (think they're green). They do effect how the switch works. Maybe they have nothing to do with your problem, but with my ATS the way they are wired effects my ATS operation. I have my ATS wired like Crossy's diagram then I wired the connectors to send an earth to auto start my genset. Not the same ATS as yours.

Crossy
Yeah, I see that too, but it's unclear exactly what your green connectors do and connecting them incorrectly could fry something. Try this. With it connected as you have it. In Manual set to OFF Power on the Normal side. Switch to Auto. - Does it move? Power on the Reserve side Power off Normal side - Does it move? EDIT and message the seller of course ???? EDIT 2 Have you got a load on the output?
Muhendis
Inside the ATS there is a relay, a motor and two main MCBs. The relay is powered by the "N" circuit I think and will remain energised until power is lost at that input. When the relay is de-energised the motor is powered to cause the MCBs to switch over to the "R" circuit. The opposite happens when power is restored to "N" input. Make sure the supply to the "N" side and the "R" side is good. 1

Crossy
I do note that you possibly have L and N (colours) connected differently on each side.

Not on mine but I suppose different switches can do different things. The installation book is the definitive source for this info. Needless to say those green connectors can be left alone for a basic change over function. 1

Bandersnatch
@Pink7 I have a very similar looking transfer switch which was installed by my solar installer. It features in this video on V2L at about the 4 minute mark. Edited March 12, 2023 by Bandersnatch
