ktm jeff Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Hello all. I will be returning to Chiang Mai in April. I usually stay for 2 months , but this time intend to stay for 3 months. Would it be easier to get a 90 day visa in the UK (if possible) or should i get my usual 60 day visa , and extend it once i arrive ?. If so . how do i best do this. Also , do i book the return flight the same time as the outbound flight. Ie , up to 90 days later. Im concerned if i dont get the extra 30 day extension , i will have to re_book the return flight. Many thanks.
Popular Post DrJack54 Posted March 15, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 15, 2023 What 90 visa are you referring to. Non O retirement/marriage? That is an option. So is 60 day tourist visa with 30 day extension. Don't be concerned about not being able to obtain the extension. No problem with that. You would not extend "once you arrive".......best to obtain extension with couple of weeks remaining on the 60 day stamp. 2 2

ktm jeff Posted March 16, 2023 Author Posted March 16, 2023 In the previous years i got a 60 day tourist visa from Thai embassy in London , by post. Can i do this again except for 90 days , or just get a 60 day tourist visa again , then extend once in TH.

Single-entry tourist visa (SETV) is 60 days, extendable once for 30 days. It's online now... https://www.thaievisa.go.th/ 1 1
