Bang Yai police in Nonthaburi were alerted along with rescue services to a multiple collision involving a fatality and injuries on the Taling Chan to Suphanburi road outbound at 2pm yesterday.

 

A 24 wheel Volvo truck/trailer was split in two. Wilaiwan, 38, in the cab died next to her husband Rin, 42.

A Hino truck lying across the central divide was less damaged.

 

Three people were injured in a Thai Watsadu delivery vehicle.

A Ford ranger and a Toyota Soluna were also involved in the smash.

 

A witness said that it started when a car collided with a pick-up then trucks swerving on both sides added to the metalic melee, reported Naew Na.
