It's a weird one alright.  It sounds like perhaps they're just parroting Western activist talking points to try and get what they want, TBH.

 

Most people will always look down prostitutes to some degree, because they're... prostitutes.

 

There's a decent argument for it to be legal.  "Two consenting adults", etc..  But no one is going to hope that their little girls grow up to be hookers rather than Doctors.  It just isn't healthy, physically and mentally.

 

The difference with Thailand is that people generally don't care what other people do (good or bad) if it doesn't effect them.

In the caption above, only in LOS where the police officer inspecting sex oriented locations are hotter than the workers.
