President Biden denied that his family received more than $1 million in payments from accounts related to Hunter Biden’s business associate Rob Walker and their Chinese business ventures in 2017, even though financial records indicate otherwise.

On Thursday, GOP lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee revealed that they had obtained bank documents showing that Hunter Biden, the president's brother Jim, and Hallie Biden, the widow of his son Beau, received payments from Hunter's business associate Rob Walker and their joint venture with Chinese energy firm CEFC. A spokesperson for Hunter Biden's legal team confirmed the payments Thursday but emphasized that the recipients' accounts "belonged to Hunter, his uncle and Hallie – nobody else."

Biden's corruption is far more egregious and dangerous to America than any of Trumps achievments as a real estate mogul where he eraned millions. Comer needs to provide evidence of a crime or criminal intent relating to the transfer.

 

It’s not for the Biden’s or anyone on the left to provide evidence that the transfer was innocent.

 

Nobody needs to demonstrate their innocence, if Comer or anyone else wish to allege a crime, they need to bring the evidence.

So much nonsense here. The first link is not about criminal corruption at all, but rather about the inherently corrupt American political system where political donations of all sorts have skyrocketed since the right-wing supreme court ruled that cash donations are protected by the 1st amendment. You know, money talks.The author of that Guardian articles predicted that Biden would go easy on the wealthy because of those contributions.But, in fact, as it turned out, Biden introduced bills that had they passed as he intended, would have taken a substantial tax bite out of wealthy. As it is, it took enough of a bite to pay for the new programs he introduced.

 

As for that dishonest New York Post piece... First off, the sentence cited from Hunter Bidens email about the "big guy" was not "10% for the big guy." but "10% for the big guy?" And even if it was Joe Biden who was being referred to, there was a subsequent email from Hunter Biden which said the chairman gave an "emphatic no" when asked if he wanted to be involved in the China business.

That's the eternal problem with some MAGA posters. They are told they need to link sources so they quickly link some articles without really reading them.
