I'm looking for a pair of glasses identical to these more or less (with hinge) in Bangkok THAT DO NOT COST 10K FOR FRAMES. Looked everywhere for years. Just happened to stumble on these a few years back. Shop had no more.

Thank you all

I have had several pair from Zenni including their rimless jobbies. Good lenses but the coating starts to come off after a year or so.

You get what you pay for!

Many people have been using Zenni mail order (ship from China) for glasses last decade as price is much lower than shops in Thailand and huge selection of frames/types.  I would take a look there.

Thank you. I look on Zenni every so often. Some almost are what I'm after but it's always something - but especially the ugly colors. I just need simple, black glasses.

Thank you

Zenni really is your best bet, try looking there again and more extensively.

Glasses  are very expensive here.

The glasses I posted were sold at b1700 and I paid 1000 for the higher quality lenses. Nothing fancy just reading.

Yes Sheryl, absolutely ridiculous prices for really low quality frames

Name-brand frames are expensive here, but cheap glasses are available. My boy just bought a pair for 1,000 all in, ordered on Saturday and he picks them up Tuesday.

If you are in Bangkok try taking a trip to Klong Thom area near China town.

In one area there are a lot of shops selling glasses and frames for very cheap (from 80 baht a pair up to 1000's) and in my opinion some of them are good quality frames of many types.

You can try them on before purchase.

I get my eyes tested and then go to a glasses shop and they manufacture and fit the lens.

Need to search better, as that's what mine are, and bought here/TH, and I know I didn't pay 10k for them, or would.

Due for any set soon anyway, but not that soon that I'd be helpful.

I have rimless frames from a company called Silhouette. Can't remember cost as I bought them several years ago.

Might be worth a look:

These are best looking and fit I'm finding but 8+10k frames only

The ones I have which are titanium and I'm perfectly okay with cost 3k all in

Haha I've been in every glasses shop, every mall from Central Pohan Yotin to Terminal 21 then along Sukhumvhit heading towards Bumrungrad. Going the other direction I know there are two or three shops and some of them are quite good but also expensive around Thong Lo.

Looked Siam Square, Discovery and MBK oh, and Central Ratchadamri Zen

There are decent frames I find in rare moments but the price tag is 15-20k before '50% off'

Do they offer rimless spectacles?

Owndays have stores in several areas of Bangkok and have some nice Japanese rimless frames for under 5000 baht.

I'll have a look. Thanks there.
