I am still waiting for them to act on an Interpol report sent to them for a couple of rogues hiding in plain sight down there south of Pattaya.

They really need more staff to act on these things I feel !

There were Chinese, Taiwanese and French nationals taken off the Thai streets.

That's good news, 6 pieces of slime scrubbed of the streets.

Only 192 countries nationals to go plus the few thousand of others in the three named countries that are still strolling around.

Keep up the good work PM Prayuth and PM Prawit.  Let's go for 10, that will really rip the heart out of the underworld holiday Haven Thailand has become.

OH! So Red Notices do work???

problem is the Thais have a problem with the English language - this has been confirmed as it was one of the excuses put up years back why a red notice couldn't be issued for the red bull criminal.

...As well as a foreigner who raped a woman in Bangkok after getting her paralytically drunk and taking her to a hotel.

Huh?

This is Thailand, for Christ's sake! Who needs to resort to such desperate measures for some action?

Must be one sick puppy.

Last time my wife came thru she wasn't giving a stamp which she never is. She asked the immigration officer for a stamp which he happily provided. Trouble is there was no ink in the stamper probably because it never gets any use lol

Are you saying the US doesnt know who is coming in our out of their borders?

Anybody getting on a plane in the US international or domestic, stamp or not is having their identity tracked. Fugitives with actives warrants are wise to avoid airports. “Natural border”, no.

Criminal organization, drug dealing, Interpol notices, serious assaults illegal businesses tax evasion and rape. Listen, people don't just come to Thailand and suddenly become hardcore felons none of these people never should have been let in the country in the first place.

The whole immigration system needs reform and home country criminal checks should be mandated for most travelers prior to flying to Thailand. Unless, they actually want the Kingdom to continue as a haven for the criminal castaways  and lowlifes from around the world.

And there was I believing that was what made the place so interesting.

Of course these lowlifes actually bring a pot of cash INTO  Thailand e.g:-

"Ma had been part of a gang running a car rental and purchase business. After advertising online he simply disappeared with 100 million baht's worth of money and sought refuge in Thailand."

And no Oscars for guessing if he brought some of it with him!

I think they need to overhaul the staff they've got!

"The Royal Thai Police (RTP) is the national police force of Thailand. The RTP employs between 210,700 and 230,000 officers"

Compared to the UK, a country(ies) with a similar size of population:-

"In 2022 there were approximately 164,000 police officers in the United Kingdom"

Hardly. This is all computerized and probably has been for 15 years.

On the other hand, looking at daily stories of southern border maybe not 555

Is Thailand really a Haven for criminals? I would have voted for Cambodia.

Does Thailand have any agreement to share criminal databases or not?

You really don't suspect that the two would actually pursue such a partnership of this nature.

Shared criminal database indeed. That's almost amusing.

Never mind about the supposed illegal "criminal" aliens infiltrating the U.S.......they already have their hands full with the born and bred variety. America is a criminal utopia.....
