A Thai woman jumped off the fourth floor of a dormitory in Samut Prakarn province near Bangkok to escape from her abusive, alleged drug addict husband who scalded, assaulted and thrust a glass bottle into her vagina.

A rescue team from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation rushed to Soi Bang Pla 22 in the Bang Plee district of Samut Prakarn to help the victim, 27 year old Naritsara, who escaped from a nearby dormitory to seek help from the staff members at a car inspection centre.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found Naritsara crying from the burns caused by the scalding and the wound on her head. They immediately administered first aid before taking her to Bang Plee Hospital for further treatment.

According to Naritsara, her husband, 33 year old Paisarn, who was under the influence of drugs falsely accused her of having an affair with another man. Paisarn forced her to stay inside the room and threatened to stab her if she tried to escape.

She supposedly jumped from the 4th floor but the only injuries she was being treated for are the ones her husband caused? WOW! No injuries from the jump. Incredible.

There are plenty of stories of people falling from great heights and surviving. Google Nicholas Alkemade for instance.

A darkened room for the next 20 years seems fitting.

Very unlikely that she plunged three stories straight down with no injuries.  Perhaps there were awnings etc. that broke her fall.

According to the news article at Sanook she claimed that after getting locked in on the 4th floor she decided to jump to her death but landed in a forested area.

This story is harder and harder to believe. There was a FOREST right outside of her window? Even if she hit a few trees on the way down there would have to be broken bones (ribs, arm). Imagine yourself jumping form the 4th floor even IF there was something to break your fall. Four stories is a LONG way down. The story isn't believable.
